Schauer Arts Center Announces its 2018-19 Performing Arts Season

The Schauer Arts Center is excited to announce its 2018-19 Performing Arts Series, a new and diverse season of entertainment from a wide variety of global artists. The Schauer’s 18th season, featuring the theme of “Art, Soul & Rock and Roll” includes performances from the Milwaukee Ballet, Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, the Church Basement Ladies, Jimmy Osmond and more.


The season kicks off on Sept. 14 with Grammy-nominated Country icons, the Bellamy Brothers. Other performance highlights include performances from Madison’s Harmonious Wail, Isthmus Brass and the Mark Croft Band as well as tributes to the Bee Gees, Frank Sinatra, The Highwaymen and Creedence Clearwater Revival.


“We wanted to bring something for everyone,” says Joe Konrad, executive director of the Schauer Arts Center. “No matter your age or interests, we really tried to bring a wide variety of performances this season. From classical artists to musical theater, country to rock n’ roll, ballet to soul and R&B -- it’s going to be fun!


Subscription orders are now being accepted (6 events or more), Friends of the Schauer tickets go on sale June 6, 2018, and individual tickets go on sale June 18, 2018. The first 25 patrons in line on June 18 will receive a voucher for a free beverage as well as entry into a drawing for $50 off their order. Filled with culture and history, the Schauer Arts Center was transformed from a canning factory built in 1919 into a non-profit, regional center for the arts that inspires creativity and connects people. Since opening in 2001, the Schauer Arts Center presents professional touring performances in the Ruth A.
