Meet the Board

Josh Muche, President

I am the Modern Woodmen Representative here in Horicon. I've been married to my beautiful wife for 14 years and we have 3 wonderful boys. Our family keeps busy with many community and sports activities and through out children's sports and school activities. We are grateful for our amazing friends who help us promote a positive and growing community. Family, friends, and community, it's what it's all about!

Vance Mattila, Vice President

I have lived in Horicon for the majority of my life. While growing up here, I made many friends, played sports, graduated from Horicon High School and met my wife, Kristine. As an adult, I want to give back to the community that I grew up in. Being a board member in the Chamber of Commerce allows me to do just that. This position will give me the opportunity to work with other local businesses and groups in Horicon to make a positive difference in the community. Working at Hardware Hank, I am meeting many residents of Horicon as well as people that are just passing through. I look forward to serving you!

Tracy Warden

I am currently a mortgage lender with Horicon Bank. I started at Horicon Bank about 25 years ago after graduating from UW-Whitewater with a Finance Degree. I also attended Moraine Park Technical College to earn my Associates Degree in Accounting. I have been in the Horicon Community my entire life. I grew up in Burnett and graduated from Horicon High School. In addition to serving on the Chamber Board, I have been a member of the Horicon Lions Club for 19 years.

MaryAnn Ediem

I've lived in Horicon for 29 years. We moved to the area from Oshkosh in 1991 when my husband, Jack, started his chiropractic practice in an office space by the Besthesda building. Although I've worked many years as a registered nurse, I also have helped Jack and our son, Steve, who also is a chiropractor, at their office which is currently located at 514 East Lake Street. We have raised our four children (Steve, Emily, Laura, and Mike) in Horicon. It has been a great place to raise a family! Between, school, church, the pool, an active library, sports, band and just enjoying the beautiful marsh area, there was always something to keep them busy. I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, kayaking, fishing, exploring new places, cooking, reading, music, sewing, and other creative activities.

Rich Appel

I have been the Superintendent of Schools at the School District of Horicon since July, 2016. It is an honor and privilege to serve the students and families of Horicon. I am proud to be a part of a very dedicated, caring and passionate staff who daily create opportunities for our students, both in the classroom and out. Helping students find and showcase their gifts is a focus that we strive for at Horicon. We believe in reaching and teaching the whole child so they grow and find their passion for learning. Serving on the Horicon Chamber of Commerce board and being active in the community is very important to me as I've been raised to believe that more hands make light work and it's my responsibility to support others in our community. I am proud to do so!

I have worked at John Deere in various roles since 2005. In May 2017 I moved to Wisconsin in which I am the Labor Relations Manager on the leadership team at John Deere Horicon Works. I am married with 2 beautiful daughters, 8 and 6, and currently reside just outside of Horicon. As a family we love outdoor activity such as running, hiking, skiing, biking, and flying kites. We have had a blast learning about the Wisconsin way of life and the local area and look forward to raising our family here. On behalf of my family as well as John Deere Horicon Works, I am happy to serve on the Chamber of Commerce board.
