Winter Wonderland 2020

Come to the Environmental Education (EE) Barn (north of the Visitor Center - N10755 South Point Road), and join Friends of the Horicon Natinoal Wildlife Refuge for some snowshoeing, cross-country skiing or hiking on Saturday, February 8, from 10:00am - 2:00pm. Some snowshoes will be available for use (first come-first served.) Follow the trail from the EE Barn to the Visitor Center. The Visitor Center will also be open (9:00 - 4:00), so you can check out Coot's Corner for winter deals :) (Additional disocunts for FOHNWR members). Refreshments will be serviced (hot chocolate, coffee, and snacks). Grill a hot dog and marshmallows on the fire outside. Ongoing indoor activities will include nature crafts, marsh and refuge displays, warming up by the wood stove.
